An election for School parliament held on July15, 2019. Students of Class IX held responsibility and performed the whole process. Students from class II onwards gave their votes by following the same process as of election in India.

Investiture ceremony for the school parliament held on 29 July, 2019. Honorable Dr. B.M Sharma B.M.O. was the chief guest. The celebration started with the chanting of gaytri Mantra followed by welcoming the chief guest by presenting him a bouquet of flowers and honored with Gaytri patka. The chief guest spoke very high of the progress made by school on all these two years. He praised the Principal and staff for converting a deserted piece of land into a greenhouse. He inspired the students that his own children are the doctors and the product of D. A. V. Sri Vijaynagar.

The chief guest pinned up the badges to the office bearers of the new parliament & motivated them for the responsibilities that have been bestowed to them as leaders. He gave away the prizes to the winners of a calligraphy competition. The function came to an end by thanksgiving to the chief guest followed by DAV Gaan & National Anthem.
